A surprisingly easy way to make poached eggs — no stove watching, no messy water, just perfectly soft eggs straight from the air fryer.


⏱ Time

  • Prep: 3 minutes
  • Cook: 5–7 minutes
  • Total: about 8 minutes

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • Oil spray (ghee butter spray or any cooking spray)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 6 tbsp hot water
  • Toast (optional, adds points)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (177°C) for 3 minutes using air fry/air crisp setting.

2️⃣ Prepare Ramekins

  • Lightly spray oil inside each ramekin.
  • Rub around edges to prevent sticking.

3️⃣ Add Water
Pour 3 tbsp hot water into each ramekin.

4️⃣ Add Eggs
Gently crack one egg into each ramekin.

5️⃣ Air Fry
Place ramekins directly into the air fryer basket.
Cook 5–7 minutes, depending on yolk preference:

  • 5 min → soft/runny yolk
  • 6 min → medium
  • 7 min → firmer yolk

6️⃣ Remove & Serve
Carefully remove ramekins.
Loosen eggs with a rubber spatula or run a knife along the edge if needed.
Transfer to a plate or toast and season with salt & pepper.
