  • Fresh apples (any variety)
  • Cold water
  • Lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7-Up)

โœจ Lower-Point Option (Recommended)

  • Diet lemon-lime soda or
  • 1โ€“2 tbsp lemon juice in water

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions

  1. Slice apples into thin wedges.
  2. Soak in cold water for 3โ€“5 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Soak slices in lemon-lime soda (or diet version) for 3โ€“5 minutes.
  5. Drain lightly.
  6. Divide into snack-size portions.
  7. Store in Ziploc bags in the fridge.

They stay fresh and bright much longer without browning.
