Ultra Low-Point Chicken Shawarma with Garlic Sauce

🧺 Ingredients (Lightened Version)

For the Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs skinless chicken breast (or 99% lean thighs if you prefer) – 0 points
  • 1 tbsp olive oil – 4 points (instead of 2 tbsp)
  • 2 tsp cumin – 0
  • 1 tsp paprika – 0
  • 1 tsp turmeric – 0
  • 1 tsp coriander – 0
  • 1 tsp cinnamon – 0
  • 2 cloves garlic – 0
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice – 0
  • Salt & pepper – 0

👉 Optional: Replace olive oil with 2 tbsp Greek yogurt for marinade = 0 points


🧄 Ultra Light Garlic Sauce (The Big Swap 👀)

  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt – 0 points
  • 1 tbsp light mayo – 1 point
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Still creamy. Still garlicky. Just not 20-point mayo sauce.


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Mix all marinade ingredients and coat chicken.
Marinate at least 30 minutes (overnight = elite flavor).

2️⃣ Cook in hot skillet or grill 5–7 minutes per side until golden and 165°F internal temp.

3️⃣ Whisk garlic sauce ingredients until smooth. Chill until serving.

4️⃣ Slice chicken and serve in:

  • Lettuce wraps – 0 points
  • Low-carb pita – 2 points
  • Bowl with salad – 0 points

🧮 WW Points (Unified System)

If served as a bowl (no pita):

➡ ~1–2 points per serving (mostly from olive oil & light mayo)

If served in low-carb pita:
