This has become one of my favorite sweet breakfasts when I want something that feels a little more special than regular toast but still keeps the Points really low. The trick for me is using fat-free cottage cheese and letting the toast stay in the air fryer just long enough for the berries to start bursting. Some of the blueberry juice runs into the cottage cheese and gives it that warm, almost cheesecake-like flavor without needing much sweetener at all. I also don’t spread the cottage cheese too thin — leaving it a little chunky like in the photo keeps the center creamy while the edges toast slightly. If your berries aren’t very sweet, a tiny drizzle of sugar-free honey or syrup after cooking works perfectly. I actually prefer adding it at the end because you taste the sweetness more, so you need less of it.

WW Points Breakdown
- Bread: 2 Points
- Fat-free cottage cheese: 0 Points
- Blueberries: 0 Points
- Sugar-free honey/syrup: 0 Points
Total for both slices: ~2 WW Points
If you use the regular 4% cottage cheese + 4 g real honey from the original version, it comes to roughly 7 Points. This version keeps almost the same look while cutting it down to about 2 Points.
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F / 190°C.
- Place the two slices of bread on a plate.
- Divide the cottage cheese evenly between the slices, keeping it slightly chunky rather than smoothing it completely.
- Scatter the blueberries over the top and gently press a few into the cottage cheese.
- Transfer the toast to the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 5–6 minutes, or until the bread is crisp, the cottage cheese is lightly toasted, and some of the blueberries have started to burst.
- Remove carefully and drizzle with a tiny amount of sugar-free honey or syrup.
- Add cinnamon if you like and eat while warm.
