Last night i made this spaghetti for my family , it was so good and everyone enjoyed
Ingredients:
- 12 oz whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 lb 96% lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups no-sugar-added spaghetti sauce (e.g., Ragu Tomato & Basil)
- 4 cups 1% cottage cheese
- 2½ cups part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Spaghetti: Prepare the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Meat Sauce:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Assemble the Casserole:
- Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer half of the cooked spaghetti in the dish.
- Spread half of the cottage cheese over the spaghetti.
- Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Pour half of the meat sauce over the cheese layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients
5.Bake:
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
