Ingredients
- 1 lb. Lean Ground Turkey
- ½ cup Onion diced
- ½ cup Red Pepper diced
- ½ cup Green Pepper diced
- 1 teaspoon Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
- 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 15 oz. can Tomato Sauce or Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Instructions
- Add olive oil to a large pan over medium high heat.
- Add the diced onions, red and green pepper and minced Garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes or till the vegetables are slightly soft.
- Add the ground turkey and cook it for 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up the meat with the spatula, till the meat is browned.
- Add the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Splenda brown sugar blend, chili powder, salt and pepper and mix well.
- Bring the meat mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, till the meat sauce is thickened to your liking.
- Serve the Sloppy Joe over whole wheat buns and enjoy.

Divide the mixture into 6 equal servings. Each serving is 2 points on the new WeightWatchers Program.
