Spaghetti Sub Buns — Lower Point Version

Ingredients & Points:

  • Spaghetti noodles (about ½ cup cooked) — 1 point
  • Ground turkey or chicken (lean) — 2 points
  • Prego spaghetti sauce (no added sugar) — 1 point
  • Whole wheat small sub bun or pita (1 small) — 2 points
  • Spray butter — 0 points
  • Lawry’s Garlic seasoning — 0 points
  • Part-skim mozzarella cheese (less amount) — 2 points

How to:
Cook your spaghetti and meat like usual. Hollow out the bun’s center, spray it with butter, and sprinkle with Lawry’s Garlic seasoning. Fill with spaghetti + meat, top with cheese. Bake at 450°F for 5-7 minutes.


Total Points: About 8 — still tasty without losing the “homemade vibe.”

Want it even lower? You can cut down on cheese or swap buns, but this is a good balanced version!
