Smash Big Mac Tacos

These Smash Big Mac Tacos are a combination of two American favorite meals… a Big Mac and a crispy taco! They are crowd pleaser!

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Additional Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 96% lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder 
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 8 small low carb white tortilla or corn tortillas
  • 8 slices reduced fat American cheese
  • Burger toppings: white onions, shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, or Skinny Big Mac Sauce

Instructions

  1. Divide beef into eight 2 ounces portions.
  2. Place two ounces of beef onto each of the tortillas. Press down to flatten the beef into the shape and size of the tortilla.
  3. Sprinkle the beef with the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium high heat. Spray the skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Place one to three tortillas ( depending on your size tortilla and skillet pan) beef side down in the prepared skillet.
  6. Let them cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip. Cook the other side for 3-4 minutes or until the beef is crispy and cooked through. 
  7. Add a slice of cheese on top of the beef and let the cheese melt. Repeat until all the smash tacos are cooked. 
  8. Repeat until all the smash tacos are cooked. 
  9. Top with your favorite toppings and burger sauce. Enjoy!
  10. Store leftovers in fridge for 3 days but these taste best fresh!! Reheat on skillet if desired.
