These Protein Packed Sausage Balls are a savory, cheddar filled sausage bites that are packed with protein! These sausage balls make for a perfect quick and easy breakfast, snack, or serve as a game-day appetizer!

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Jennie O’ Italian Turkey Sausage
- 1/2 cups reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ cups milk of your choice. I use Fairlife skim milk
- 2 cups Kodiak buttermilk pancake mix or Bisquick
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients together.
- Using your hands, knead the sausage ball mix together until everything has been incorporated.
- Roll each sausage ball into 1-inch sized balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in your oven for 20-25 minutes or until the sausage balls are golden brown.
- Store leftover sausage balls in an airtight container in your fridge for 3-5 days. These can also be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Wrap in foil and store in an airtight container. Thaw overnight in the fridge and bake according to the recipe directions.
