Ingredients:

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup milk (any kind – dairy or plant-based)
  • ½ cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1-2 tsp chia seeds (optional, for thickness and nutrition)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • A handful of fresh blueberries
  • A spoonful of blueberry compote or blueberry syrup (optional, for the swirl effect on top)
    Instructions:
  1. Mix the base:
  • In a glass container or jar, mix the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir well to combine.
  1. Let it sit:
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
  1. Top it off:
  • In the morning, stir the oats. If it’s too thick, add a splash of milk.
  • Top with a generous spoonful of yogurt.
  • Add fresh blueberries and drizzle with blueberry syrup or compote if desired.
  1. Enjoy!
  • Eat cold straight from the fridge or let it sit out for a few minutes if you prefer it closer to room temperature.
