Light Cheesy Pizza Crust

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional: use reduced-fat if available)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning (for garnish)

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, combine mozzarella, parmesan, egg, and garlic powder. Mix until fully incorporated into a sticky mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture onto the parchment and flatten into a round or oval pizza crust shape using a spoon or spatula.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, until firm and slightly golden.
  6. Switch oven to broil, move the baking sheet to the top rack, and broil until cheese is browned and bubbly (1–3 minutes — watch closely!).
  7. Garnish with Italian seasoning or herbs of your choice. Let cool slightly before slicing.
