For the Chicken:
1 boneless chicken breast, sliced into strips
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp paprika
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt & pepper to taste
Tzatziki Sauce:
½ cup Greek yogurt
¼ cucumber, finely grated
1 small garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or ½ tsp dried)
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Wrap Components:
1 whole wheat pita or flatbread
¼ cucumber, thinly sliced
½ tomato, sliced
A few red onion slices
Fresh dill sprigs for garnish
Optional: extra olive oil drizzle or crumbled feta
𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Toss chicken strips with olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Grill or cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Grate cucumber and squeeze out excess water. Mix with Greek yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, and salt. Chill until ready to use.
Warm the pita. Spread a generous layer of tzatziki, add chicken strips, sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and a few sprigs of dill. Fold or roll and enjoy!
