Frozen chocolate dipped banana bites are melted with Lily’s white chocolate and dark chocolate then FROZEN for this sweet treat. The only points are the chocolate chips. It takes so little on a whole banana, I count Zero points for 3-5 pieces.
Ingredients
- 2 small Banana
- 26 chip s Lily’s white Chocolate Style
- Baking Chips
- 9 oz Lily’s Dark chocolate mini baking
- chips
- optional 1/2 fiber one brownie bar pieces will add 1 point
Instructions
- Cut off the thinner ends from the bananas. Cut each banana into eight ½-inch-thick slices to yield a total of 16 slices.
- Line a plate with foil or parchment paper and transfer the banana slices to the plate.
- Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate chips on High for 30 seconds and stir. Continue to microwave the chocolate in 10-second intervals until melted.
- Dip half of each frozen banana bite in the melted chocolate. Return the banana slices to the freezer until the chocolate sets, about 2 minutes.
- Store the sandwiches in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
