Ingredients
- 2 large very ripe bananas – be sure to use large bananas otherwise if you use a too small bananas, the brownies will be dry. The riper the bananas, the sweeter the brownies.
- 1/2 cup no sugar added peanut butter – I like to use no sugar added JIF peanut butter or Better N’ Peanut Butter. You can use cashew butter or a nut butter alternative, if preferred.
- 1/4 cup unsweetened dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup protein powder- I like to use Clean Simple Eats Brownie Batter
- 2 Tbsp or 28 grams no sugar added chocolate chips-optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a high power blender or mixing bowl, combine all your ingredients and blend or mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle no sugar added chocolate chips on top, if desired.
- Bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until edges and tops are a little firm.
- Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing or serving. This will allow the brownies to completely settle.
- Store the brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
