This Easy One Pan Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry is healthier classic dish of sautéed chicken tossed with fresh broccoli florets in a light sweet and savory sauce. This Easy Chicken and Broccoli recipe is a low-carb chicken stir fry that makes for a quick and healthy meal
Ingredients
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cups fresh broccoli small florets, stems discarded
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- Green onions and toasted sesame seeds, for optional garnish
Sauce Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Choczero honey or regular honey
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, whisk all sauce ingredients together in a small bowl until combined
- Once the chicken is browned, add broccoli, and stir to combine.
- Continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes, until the broccoli is bright green.
- Stir in the sauce, and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sesame oil until combined.
- Garnish with green onions and toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
- Store leftovers in an air tight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
