Ingredients
- 4 ( 4 oz.) skinless, boneless chicken breasts-pounded into thin pieces.
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powders
- 1 tsp cumin
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 (4 oz.) can mild green chiles
- 1 cup Con Queso sauce, I like use Tostitos con queso dip
- 1 roma tomato, chopped
- 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro or parsley , chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cast iron skillet or baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, and salt.
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the prepared baking dish or skillet.
- Top chicken breasts canned green chiles.
- Spread queso sauce evenly over each chicken breast.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
- Top with chopped tomatoes and fresh cilantro or parsley. Serve warm.
