These Easy Air Fryer French Fries are salty, crispy, and super delicious! They are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside! A healthier version of the popular fast food side dish!

Ingredients
- 3 large russet potatoes
- 2 tsp olive oil and additional cooking spray
- Coarse sea salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice the potatoes into 1/4 inch strips.
- In a large bowl add cold ice water. Place the potatoes slices into the ice water bath. Completely submerging the fries in the water.
- Let fries sit one hour. This helps to remove excess starch and will help the fries crisp up more in the oven.
- Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees.
- After the fries have sat in the water bath, drain the water, and pat fries dry with a paper towel.
- Toss the fries with olive oil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add fries to bottom of air fryer basket, making sure they are in a single layer (try not to stack them on top of each other.)You may need to do several batches depending on how big your air fryer is.
- Cook for 20 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
