Dark Chocolate Brownies with Walnut-

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 325 degrees, grease 8×8 pan
  2. Β½ cup White Granulated Sweetener, I use Monkfruit
  3. 4 Tbsp of Lite Butter Spread, Like Smart Balance Light
  4. 2/3 Cups of Self-Rising Flour
  5. 1 Cup of Dark Chocolate Cocoa Powder, used Hershey’s
  6. 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
  7. 2 Eggs
  8. 12 Grams of Chopped Walnuts
  9. 3 Tbsp of brewed coffee
  10. 3 Tbsp of water
  11. Small saucepan high heat, melt sugar and butter.
  12. In medium mixing bowl, add your cocoa powder, then pour in your melted butter/sugar, add your vanilla extract, coffee & water, then whisk in your eggs. Add your flour. Mix until well combined.
  13. Pour into your greased pan, smooth top, sprinkle with walnuts, bake 15 minutes. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes.
  14. Remove from pan & cut into 9 equal squares

Some recipe Notes: Three batches and this was the one to post, first one I used kodiak mix and not enough liquid, so dry and tasteless, 2nd batch , thought to use a chocolate pudding mix, almond milk to moisten them up, ha, they were just gross, lol, kind of like a stale pudding cup, lol.

So redid first batch added more water/coffee and used flour instead of Kodiak mix, wow!!!
