Crispy Spam & Cheese Hash Browns (Low-Point and Seriously Good!)

Why You’ll Love These:
These crispy little hash browns are salty, cheesy, golden perfection. You only need three ingredients and a few minutes to whip up a breakfast that feels indulgent but is actually light on points. They’re perfect on their own or as a fun “bread” for your morning sandwich. Oh — and they reheat like champs.

Whether you’re meal prepping or just hungry now, these are about to become a go-to favorite. Easy, crispy, melty, and low-point? Yes, please. 🙌

Ingredients (Makes 4 hash browns):

  • ¾ can of Spam (cut into ¼-inch cubes)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella works best)
  • 1 egg

Instructions:

  1. Dice & Mix:
Cut the Spam into small cubes. In a bowl, mix together the Spam, cheese, and egg until fully combined.
  2. Cook:
  • Waffle Maker: Scoop about 3 tablespoons into a preheated waffle maker and cook 4–5 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Oven: Preheat to 400°F, spread the mix into small rounds on a parchment-lined sheet, and bake 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  1. Cool & Serve:
Let them cool for a minute or two so they crisp up. Serve warm on their own or use as “toast” for breakfast sandwiches!

  • Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer for extra crisp.
