I came across this recipe & decided to try it out 🤩 They are still soft, sweet and gooey 🍫 — just lighter!

Ingredients

1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour, spoon and leveled

1 tablespoon oat flour (or use more all-purpose if needed)

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons (40g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled

3 tablespoons (45g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons (packed) brown sugar substitute (like Swerve)

2 tablespoons granulated sugar substitute (like monk fruit)

1 large egg, at room temperature

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

½ cup (90g) sugar-free or reduced-sugar chocolate chips (like Lily’s)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to combine. Set aside.

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon oat flour, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon baking powder, ¼ teaspoon salt

In a large bowl, combine melted butter, Greek yogurt, brown sugar substitute, and granulated sugar substitute. Use a whisk to mix until well combined and creamy — about 1 minute by hand or 20 seconds with an electric mixer on medium.

  • 3 tablespoons butter, 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons brown sugar substitute, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar substitute

Add the egg and vanilla. Whisk well until smooth.

  • 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Then fold in your chocolate chips until the dough is soft and uniform.

  • ½ cup sugar-free chocolate chips

Use a medium cookie scoop to portion dough onto your baking sheet, leaving about 2–3 inches between each.

Add a few extra chocolate chips on top if you’d like.

Bake in the center of your oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are just golden.

Once out of the oven, use a round cutter or cup to gently shape them into perfect circles if needed.
