This Easy Lightened Up Chocolate Chip Cannoli Dip has been lightened up using fat-free or light ricotta cheese, light cool whip, monk-fruit powdered sugar sweetener, and vanilla. Easy to make and ridiculously delicious

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fat-free or low fat ricotta cheese, drained
  • 2 Tbsp zero point powdered sugar sweetener – We love to use Lakanto powdered sweetener. We do recommend using classic white granulated or the texture of the dip will be a bit grainy.
  • 1/4 cup light cool whip
  • 2 oz. reduced fat whipped cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp mini semi sweet chocolate chips, divided. You could also use Lily’s or ChocZero no sugar added chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine ricotta, light cream cheese, powdered sugar sweetener, light cool whip, and vanilla. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Fold in 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour mixture into a serving dish and garnish with 1 Tbsp mini chocolate chips, if desired.
  4. Serve cold with apple slices, sliced strawberries, pretzels, graham crackers, or animal crackers.
  5. Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days

makes 12 (2Tbsp) servings
